Internationally acclaimed artist Minouk Lim’s first solo museum exhibition in her native country in a decade is being presented by Ilmin Museum of Art, Seoul. On view from February 28 to April 20, 2025, Hyper Yellow posits a liminal space that exists everywhere and nowhere at once, transcending cultural fault lines and the yearning for salvation.
Minouk Lim has held solo exhibitions and projects at major institutions including the Centre Pompidou, Paris (2017); and PLATEAU, Samsung Museum of Art (2015). She has also participated in group exhibitions at Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurt (2022); MAXXI, Rome (2019); and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo (2015). Her works are in the collection of the Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, LACMA, SFMOMA, Walker Art Center, MMCA Korea, and Leeum.
