Heecheon Kim’s new work “Cutter III” is now being showcased in the exhibition “Game Society” at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul.

 

“Game Society examines the impact of the language and aesthetics of video games on contemporary art and visual culture as well as society and our lives, 50 years after their appearance. From the context of increased synchronization between society and games triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, MMCA aims to suggest new approaches and perspectives on existing game experiences by exploring the question: What experiences can games convey and share in an art museum?”
