BB&M’s debut presentation in Frieze Seoul encompasses painting, photography, sculpture, and wall-based works by the gallery artists, including such internationally acclaimed Korean figures as Lee Bul, Minouk Lim, Bae Young-whan, and Heecheon Kim, alongside closely watched young painters Jeongsu Woo and Sikyung Sung, as well as Alex Dodge and Miko Veldkamp, Brooklyn-based artists rising in recognition and spanning different visual cultures. Deploying practices both time-honored and innovative, these works generate productive counterpoints between nature and technology, the modern and the mythical, the real and the virtual.
